What is Spring center?
United Methodist Center Spring is a social church outreach program founded and operated by Grace United Methodist Church, St. Petersburg, Russia (director Rev. Rauza Landorf, pastor of Grace UMC), welcomes nearly 200 children each year to its Christian social program. Many of these children live in such volatile circumstances they would rather sleep on the streets than go home to parents who value drugs and alcohol more than their own children.
- to help free children from the bondage of poverty, violence and spiritual vacuum;
- to provide specific spiritual and financial help to children and youth from families addicted to drugs and/or alcohol;
- to provide children and their families for social and spiritual growth, as well as raise up workers for spreading this ministry.
